The Vera Project is set to host "Seattle Youth 4 Haiti" a benefit concert organized by The Seattle Refugee Alliance, Saturday March 13 at 7:30 pm. All proceeds from the $10 cover go to Doctors without boarders.

The ten-band lineup includes Seattle's own reggae artist, Adrian Xavier. Xavier is excited to be able to use his music to support this issue. "I am committed to social issues…and tuned in to the struggles and plight of the Haitian community." Xavier joined at the request of his little sister, Taina Tremblay who is involved in Seattle's Refugee Alliance.

Xavier has played for audiences all over the world and been billed with well-known artists such as Public Enemy, John Legend and the Black Eyed Peas but this is his first time at The Vera Project and feels it is a very special venue, " I am happy to be involved!"
