New Russell Day Gallery exhibit opens

An annual art exhibit created by Northwest artists with disabilities will be on display in the Russell Day Gallery from Feb. 16 through March 19.
This year's exhibit, titled "No Boundaries : Transcendence," is sponsored by Creative Activities/ VSA Washington. The exhibit has been touring the Pacific Northwest since 1991 to create opportunities for artists with disabilities to launch or expand careers in the arts.
There will be arts in many shapes from paintings, prints, drawings, photographs, digital art, mixed media and sculpture by 22 different artists.
VSA Washington is a member of the international network of VSA, an affiliate of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
The gallery is located in Parks Student Union building room 219. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
