"[The location] will mainly be used for classes" said Patrick Sisneros, Vice President of College Student Services.

The Monroe location will be predominantly used for teaching space. Though it will have connection to important services, according to Dunn, it is not likely that the location will offer programs like counseling or advising, or have features, such as a library or a bookstore.

"We feel that there is a demand to offer more opportunities to students in underserved communities." said Sisneros.
EvCC also offer evening classes at Marysville Arts & Technology High School and the Tulalip South Lot Building. At this time, there are no plans to expand these programs to include daytime classes.

If the Monroe campus is successful, EvCC officials will consider the possibility of offering or expanding other satellite campuses in other areas of Snohomish County.
"We want to save people time and money." said Dunn.

If you are interested in enrolling at the Monroe campus, you can contact Sheila Dunn, Director of East County Expansion, at (425)-239-8071 or sdunn@everettcc.edu. Dunn's assistant can also be reached at (360)-804-4523.

"Parking is abundant and free [at this time]." said Dunn.
